The Leader’s Playbook for Building High-Performing Teams

It takes completely different skills to lead a high-performing team than the ones taught in most Business Schools or modeled by most leaders.

Based on 2 decades of research at Harvard, the audience will learn what environment creates teams that outperform all others and the 3 simple leader behaviors that create the conditions for a high-performing team.

The Surprising #1 Predictor of a High-Performing Team

Two decades of research at Harvard and Google’s quest to unearth the factors that make highly effective teams, led to an interesting finding about what highly effective teams have in common: team members aren’t afraid to speak up. Feeling you can speak up with ideas, questions, concerns, and mistakes – without being punished or humiliated — is called “psychological safety”, and it is the gateway for unleashing productivity and innovation in teams and other work groups.
